Creating a brand identity for a new business start-up.
About.
Caring Catsitters was set up by experienced cat-owner, Jane Matthews. Having struggled to find a suitable cat-sitting service for her own cats within her local area, she decided to use her extensive experience of caring for cats to set up her own business, with the aim of providing her local community with a professional, friendly and reliable service.
Challenge.
As a new business start-up, Jane and her husband John enlisted our help to create a brand identity for their new venture, including a logo, website and other branded assets to promote their services and to convey their brand image as professional, friendly and reliable.
Solution.
We created a brand identity and logo to reflect their ethos and then carried this through in their newly-designed website and branded assets. The colour palette and typeface were chosen to convey the brand image as professional, with the use of black, but also friendly and compassionate with the soft pink and choice of typeface.

Website Design.
Produced in line with the brief of delivering a professional, friendly and easy to use website to showcase their services. The newly-designed brand logo and colour palette were applied consistently throughout the site and the layout was simple and easy to navigate.
Mobile Design.
As a high proportion of users would be likely to access the website on a mobile device, the mobile version of the website was carefully designed to ensure that it provided users with an easy, functional and engaging user experience across devices.
Interactive PDF Guide.
Produced as a digital interactive PDF, this booklet delivers key information for prospective customers about their services and prices as well as FAQs. This PDF could either be downloaded from the website or emailed directly to customers in response to enquiries.

Poster Design.
Print leaflets designed in the new brand style and colours to display around the local community and to be used for leaflet drops to promote the Caring Catsitters business and reflect their core values. A promotional QR discount code was included as an incentive.

Business Card Design.
Using the Caring Catsitters brand style, these business cards help create a strong first impression when promoting their new business within the local community. They create an immediate impact and showcase their friendly and professional brand identity.

Brochure Design.
Produced as a print brochure in the new brand style, it provides comprehensive information for customers about services and prices as well as testimonials, terms & conditions and FAQs. Useful to share with older local residents who may prefer print over digital.
RESULT.
We created a brand identity to convey the business' core ethos of friendly, professional and reliable. This branding was consistently applied across the range of digital and print promotional materials and branded assets to help establish and promote Caring Catsitters within the local community.
